    "race cut" the same as Wrecked then cut? picture dosent come up. I have wrecked cut on my Honda 205 r. My kid just said I need to find some new fenders. I get new fenders I can guarantee another wreck and some more sawzallin.

    The "race" wouldn't be flat track. When you slid off the seat, you'd be dragging your butt on the tire! Ouch! LOL Sort of reminds me of cars with "Patina". Just call it what it is.....Rust. LOL

    Actually,,,,,,,they are race cut for speed. Yes,,they were probably broken off and trimmed. But,,back in 83 or maybe 84. Curtis Sparks worked with a guy on a 200X. He was interested in ONE thing. Top speed on pavement. By trimming the rears and turning the rims in narrower. They reached a true 80 mph. This was WAY before all the tricks of that engine were found. He also ran a fairing/headlight from a Interceptor. It was in a magazine.
    Please help those who cannot help themselves.

    Anyone know what magazine and what date, I would like to see it. I would rather have nice fenders that goes a little slower than "race cut." I cut mine when they get cracked and I don't know anyone in this day and age that would just cut new or even good stock 250r fenders..... do you? anyway info would be cool to check out that article
