84 200x jet question

I am just finishing up my engine new timing chain 20 over wiseco 12:1 piston. whats a food place to start with jetting I know its stock with a 110 I will be running av gas 100LL

Hello

It depends what you had before. If it ran fine with a 110 before and the piston is your ONLY change then maybe a 120 and up on the needle 1 position. If it pings you need 110, 112 or 114 race fuel and/or reduce ign timing slightly.

well fired the engine up for the first time sounds great but can tell its running lean going to grad a few jets tomorrow needle is one 1 and 110 jet so time for a 120, it looses it on the top end seems to just run out of fuel other then that its doing great.
