Yea, i almost forgot about this build. I cant wait to see some riding vids after its completed.
He said he can only work on it two days a weekend max so he probably hit a snag and is just busy.

Ohhhh man I was so hoping to click page 7 and see it getting ripped apart... BUT, it's beautiful and I understand the 'only able to work on something a little at a time' bit. It's definitely gunna be a gorgeous machine. That would be awesome if it rides as nice as it looks!

There will be more soon. Sorry I have been out of the loop lately. I just had some pretty invasive back surgery and haven't been able to do much at all.
I have been working on my first gen Tecate restore a little.
The rim I am looking for is actually for a 2-wheel missile kit I am building. The rear missile for my reverse trike will be a polished rim because that's what the '88 250R had. I have the missile swinger altogether for it. Just have to literally bolt it in and then change the a-arms.
Soon soon I hope.

very nice machine, I just found this thread, I dont know if im going to sleep tonight, you've made me fall in love with the trx 250r, I've never seen one in person and yours is so beautifull. I love it, they just dont make them the same anymore. looking foreward to seeing progression

Well this sucks! Lol. I just came across this thread and it just ruined the last 6 months of my life!
I had this idea in my head when I acquired an 84 200X with quad conversion on the front in May or June. Then came across a very cheap FatCat rear swinger and hub assembly. I guess now the only thing to do is scrap the idea.
Obviously a reverse Auto-X can't even attempt to compete with a TRX250R...about the only thing I could do is build up the XR250R motor I have but I don't even know what all is missing from it.
Keep up the good work Tattool! I can't wait for the finished product.

My Wife,Brother,Nephew,cousin and ,friends have all had back surgery. My Brother in law and Mother In Law have both had fusions with rods and plates and screws. Serious stuff that turns out well with TIME. Good luck
