well looking at the Pic and the brochures, the Tank decal matches the 85 (Tank decal on the worse trike for $900), they also got round frame tubes, not Square like the 86-87, although they both got black seat covers like the 83-84 models (although who's to say the seat's aren't recovered and is not OEM?). also, it looks like they both got Aftermarket Handlebars also (Pro Taper?) Also, the better one with fork boots got black fork boots like the 83-84, 85 fork boots were blue.
Regardless of what year they are, they are worth no where near 1200 for the pair...
