84 250r dg exhaust crappy fit?

hey just bought a brand new dg headpipe and silencer.tried putting
it on last night and have some fitment problems,first the headpipe frame bracket
hits the front fender,this is a nice bike not crashed or beat with new fenders.
anyway headpipe springs don't fit too long now,and silencer with use of the
stock mounts hitting the frame the mount can even be tight to the frame.
anyone else have this pipe or problem.lmk thanks!

come on anyone I know im not the only one who put this pipe on.

Mine came on my 84 and it had great clearance, pipe didnt touch the frame anywhere and the mounts held it fine. My DG was black though, and it did come close the tank fender but didnt touch. Hopefully someone who has put one of these on new can chime in

Iv never installed a new one.But Iv heard of guys putting them on and having fitment issues.You will have to get new springs and trim the front bracket so it clears the fender and shin the silencer for clearance.

thanks for the imput.ill shim and trim
it to fit.
just put a new pj34 on it so hopefully
that and the pipe will wake it up.
