    tri-z headlight wiring..

i have no stock kill switch when i got the trike i was using a hidden toggle i added a key, so i have no green and yellow wire's cannot find the red and yellow.. all i see is a black and black with white wire extra but that's for the kill switch right? is there anyway i could use it for the headlight's? i plan on just adding a small toggle for them.. it looks like a lot of the harness has been removed and only the basics are remaining enough to run the bike lol

where the stator located on the bike maybe i can re add the headlight wire? or maybe its cut off close to it.

Should be a yellow/red wire coming from the stator cover beside the other 3 wires for the ign and pickup coil, if not pop the cover off and see if your lighting coil is still there or been removed.

Just find the lighting coil and using 1 wire connect it "parallel" or the same wire gets to each light.

The other wire is the ground (unless something else regulates the voltage) and wire that in parallel also to each light.

Someone post up a wiring diagram please..............

Only 1 wire dc, the other end of the lighting coil is ground, the y/r wire runs by a 12vac regulator that "shorts" to ground, theres a diagram on the home page, but its kind of pointless without a lighting coil, and yes you need the stock lighting coil to run the lights, not enough wattage off the ign coil to run them, or even 1 stock anyways

Just to claify my post, you still need to run a ground off your lights back into the system, by one wire i ment one off the lighting coil at the connection coming from the stator.

ah i'll have to look at it tomorrow, have it strapped on the trailer for this weekend but i wanted to get the light's working for some midnight riding xD

hoping the lighting coil is there.. if not how hard would it be to get a new 1?

so them being grounded to the headlight guard won't work? as it is now there each grounded to it then have a short lil stub of positive wire hanging out.. btw there not stock it's a set of baja headlight's
