picked up an army last weekend :)

Been a long time guys. Sold my 250r unfortunately, and got stuck with my little 185. No big deal though, its still fun to ride. Wasn't enough for me though, so as soon as i came into some money i started looking for a 200x. Posted an ad on CL looking for a cheap 200x. After a few days of letting the ad sit i got an email. The guy was looking to clean out his garage. he had a 1985 350x, 1986 350x, and a 1983 200x. the 85 350 doesnt run, just needs a piston and crank rod along with the valve cover for the top of the engine. he wanted $2600 for all of them. told him i only had 1500 to spend, so he replied with he needed money for car project he was buiding. Long story short i talked him into giving me 2 weeks to come up with 1800. the 86 runs amazing, and the 200x did run pretty well after i cleaned the carb and changed the oil. But then my step brother crashed it . now it needs new forks, axle, and i havent completely checked it out yet but the frame might be bent. the 85 350 is pretty awesome cosmetically. just need to get that fixed up. good to be back riding clutch again

Sorry no pictures guys . site says they are apparently too big.

Sounds like you got a great deal. If you need a set of forks, let me know. I think I have a set left.

Yeah, you've gotta downsize pictures before posting them here. It's a PITA, but it makes sense that the webmasters don't want to host pictures the size that we'd be posting if they didn't impose a limit.

I don't think I'd make the stepbrother pay for your forks, unless he took it without asking. I guess it depends on the situation, but if I was riding with a friend or family member and they crashed one of my machines, I guess I'd take care of it.
