newest aqusition: atc90 with LOTS of goodies

    woohoo

    Dickson frame
    Dickson forks
    Posa header with supertrapp
    oil cooler
Marschall headlight with guard. rewound lighting coil
    big mikuni carb
    ported cylinder head
    aftermarket cylinder
    chain tensioner
    aftermarket cam
    hi/lo cut out
clutch with one piece side cover
    big al's dipstick breather
    chrome pullstart cover
    big al's motor bolt kit

neat lil vey's motorcycles sticker on the pull start cover. try finding another one of those!

motor has compression, spark, gets fuel, but doesnt want to run. probably a good thing. it really should be torn down and inspected before being returned to its former glory.

is that an H&S or pauter cylinder?

Great find. Thanks for not telling us how little you paid for it. There are sure some awsome trikes around your area. There is a rd 350 sand drag trike near you for sale for cheap. It was in some 3 wheeler mags in 80 or 81. Very nice find are you going to do a full resto or just as little as it needs to run it. I love the early race stuff. 90's and 1st gen R's are the roots of atv racing.
Rebuilding and riding trikes everyday and lovin every minute.

i like my stuff fully functional, but cosmetics arent too important. that being said it'll get a nice spray from the rattle and a chaser of new parts like bearings and cables. motor internals will be torn down, cleaned, inspected, and reassembled. seat will get a custom old school cover. ill likely need a new seat pan

ive seen that Marty Smith RD bike advertised for 2 years now. not consecutively for 2 years but every few months. actually when he first advertised it, he had only dont $750 in motor work and only wanted $900 for the whole thing. now somehow the bike hasnt changed, but he spent another $150 on motor work and wants another $600. if you search my old threads you'll actually find where i posted that bike for sale when it was first advertised. i saved the orig text from the ad. some people...

My guess with no spacer plate would be 61mm bore X 58mm stroker = 169.50cc could be a short stroker at 54mm but for your area its gota be a 58mm .

that is pretty cool man! and thats another thing I hate about you west coasters, you all spray your bikes and they dont look like complete sh!t after the first ride because you ride in forgiving conditions lol spray a bike around here and the conditions will strip it in no time. I have seen a bunch on here from Cali/AZ spray their bikes and they look great ride after ride. Meanwhile my powdercoat is starting to look a little rough hahaha
