    Honda oddessy

Well guys I ran across a oddessy and may have bought it lol... The first thing I notice is a dg gold head on it. What kind of performance is expected out of that head? Boght it for the fiancé she dosent feel sturdy on 3 so I want something that she can play with me offroad. What are the good the bad the ugly about these machines ill post pics once I get home.

They are basically the same as the 1st generation atc250r's in terms of engine. They need airflow to cool!!!! But their simplicity helps to keep them running. Got any pics?

Good = lots of fun, 2 stroke simple
Bad = no rear suspension, no reverse, no e-start but you can start it from the seat with practice

The ugly? Be careful with the lack of suspension... The nastiest spill i have ever been in was in my 83 fl250. Ripping full speed across a field, the front end absorbed a little ditch (barely a dip at all) but the back end hit and bounced up, kicked sideways, and flipped me four times, end over end. First time it hit was upside down, it hit so hard my helmet came off my head. It bent the cage and warped the front end, but i was ok.

Also, keep it out of the water... The belt will start to slip and youll be stuck. Learned that one the hard way

Have fun with it, they are a blast, as long as you keep them dry and on all 4 wheels

Thanks for the info. Now ran into a problem. I have spark and I have fuel, and compression and I just can't get it to fire. Starting to make me mad! Any ideas. I cleaned everything up and got spark.
