    this maybe a dumb question, but have you gone through the carb and cleaned it up? specifically the jets. also check your points as was suggested. if i remember right, mine was always stubborn when it was cold. i used to keep a can of starting fluid strapped to a rack i added right behind the head rest net...

    ETA, just looked at the pics you posted again, that doesnt look like the original cage, or it has at least been modified

    Thanks for the thread! Machine looks good! I think it's in the points yet. My spark is a yellow not the blue it should be. Ill pull the rewind and clean and regap the points. As for the carb I have not gone threw it yet. Just dumping a little gas down the carb and cylinder. Just no fire yet....

    Keep plenty of air in the rear tires. They like to "hop" at speed if the tires are too low on air pressure. Always loved the steering wheel controls. They are a BLAST to drive !
