    Otay track, jamul so cal

My 1st time at the jamul otay track. Mymint87 and Manbearpig and his dad also were there. We were the only trikes on the track. Good fun tuning up on the trike for the next so.cal. races. I will go back again. It was worth it.

i took my baja bug all around proctor valley and the trails off otay lakes rd back in highschool. great trails and amazing views.

thatd be rad to get you back on 3 wheels in your home turf. not gonna lie, this track is narrow and isnt very well maintained. they liberally water sections with the truck, but lots of jump faces have divots that will really buck you. it'll also rattle your bike apart so check your nutz! its a hell of alot better than sittin around pickin your nose until the next trip up (or down) to cahuilla. theres a lil peewee track thats all flat and smooth. excellent for perfecting throttle control while moving at a high rate of speed...sideways.

heres a quick vid dad took first time we went

shows how narrow the track is. one real "jump" and its quite the kicker. will loft you

no mas trikes at this track. pops was told to pound sand. operator gave some BS excuse about dropping a bunch of coin into improving the track and three wheelers (which were previously allowed) are no longer welcome because "quads and three wheelers will tear up the track."

track still looks like hell. impossible to see where any $$ was spent.

three wheelers and quads smooth out the tracks. the 2 wheeled dirt bikes create the grooves and ruts, trikes and quads smooth those grooves and ruts out

on to bigger and better things...
