    1984 250R Maier Replacement Fenders Paint Question

    Hi all,

    I recently bought a 1984 ATC 250R and have been restoring it slowly. I sand blasted the frame and primered it but I am now looking to paint it red. Unfortunately, the stock fairings are shot and I will have to go with the Maier replacement fairings. They only sell 2 colors for the 1983-84 year models and they are listed as "Red" or "Black". I am wanting to paint the frame as close to the color of the fairings as possible. Does anyone have any experience with this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

    Krylon fusion.just use it on the whole bike.sand your plastic in x patterns.medium grit one way and fine the other way.you will be pleasantly surprised in the results.for me 4 coats does a fine job.
