I Eat, Sleep, And Breath 3Wheelers!
Three wheels are better then four!
The pit bike clones most all bolt up to the honda 70 frames.
They sell conversion kits.
Manifolds and starters are the issues.

Apparently so for replying to an extremely VAGUE question written by someone whom has now proven themselves to be seriously mentally challenged.
I also don't see how making comments like these to someone that simply tried to help you will get you the new friends you are so pathetically, desperately begging for in your comments above.
Don’t plan on being here long making comments like that especially as a NEWBIE and to someone you don’t know the first thing about. The next person you do it to might be one of the sites moderators.
I suggest in the future that if you are going to TRY to insult someone’s intelligence that you at LEAST try to PRETEND you are more intelligent than the person you are ATTEMPTING to insult. One of the ways to do this is to simply spell 5th GRADE level words CORRECTLY, it’s “Bultaco” not “bultace” and “dirtbike” is actually two separate words spelled “dirt bike”. Since the “o” and the “c” are a LONG distance from each other on the keyboard your mistake is OBVIOUSLY a spelling mistake and not a typo. The only problem with this suggestion is that one would need to be intelligent enough to know that the word they are ATTEMPTING to spell is being spelled incorrectly by them. It’s CLEAR in this case that you are NOT!
Although there are several others here that don’t spell well, this is NOT addressed to them, simply because not everyone can spell well but most importantly because they are not attacking me without just cause like you are.
Continue to ATTEMPT to insult myself and others here as you already have. As far as I’m concerned your negative comments are as irrelevant and insignificant as you are.
I suggest you find someone with an intelligence level greater than yours like maybe a 4th or 5th grader and have them read understand and then explain the above comments to you, since you have already CLEARLY exhibited an inability to do so yourself.
If I read your question right - your asking:
"weather or not to just swap out the motor or the transmission also" = should I big bore the ATC70 engine I have or swap the whole thing out? Since the engine and transmission are one piece.
I'd go with a complete Chinese clone engine swap since I've done it but I have no experience with ATC/TRX 70 big bores. I've heard and read a lot of good things about the 88cc kits, but have not used one myself.
I put a Chinese 125cc engine in my TRX 70. It has electric start and reverse and runs great other than a lot of cam chain noise.
A stock 70 engine is really working to haul me around (I weigh probably 100lbs more than an ATC70). The 125 in my potty quad (TRX70) rips. And powers good lights. And goes backwards which is a riot when your're incapacitated and riding it around the campground at 1AM. I've heard anyway. Just sayin'...
The Chinese clone engines bolt into the frames with no mods. Chains line up and everything. You could have carb/tank interference issues to work out. You have to do some wiring but if you're not using e-start the wiring is easy. E-start adds some complications. More wiring and a battery. Totally worth it though. I used to say e-start was for pus... er wimps but I guess I'm a wimp now.
If you go with an e-start engine, get one with the start mounted below the cylinder, not above. If the starter is above the cylinder, you have no room for the carb. My TRX had room but an ATC does not.
I made a battery tray and mounted the battery to the rear skid plate - tucked up inside the frame. Not my idea - I copied others (like FlyingW).
I bought a ragged out Chinese ATV for $200 to get the engine. I probably overpaid even at that.
Here's a couple of pics of my swap:

Mine has a Loncin 110 clutched 4 speed with estart. It is an absolute riot to ride. As JB said, my battery is stuffed up in the frame. Nice clean look but a drag when I have to take the battery out for anything.
It wont be me. I just put a battery in it so guess what? Its you baby!!!!!!! hahahahahahahaha
I have a couple of atc70s with china motors. I have a pic of my first build. This is a pic of the mock up, so the seat isn't there.
I have a zs155 ho with a big bore kit for a grand total of 184cc. Tb head /w auto decompression cam. Factory pull start converted to cdi and new motor. 28mm carb and a 1.5 exhaust system

This pic was taken before I started the frame stretch. Right now I have everything striped down and I will be painting the frame some time this week.
I did run the atc on a dyno befor I disassembled, 17hp and a max rpm of 9600 rpm before a ignition fault and major loss of hp.
I am not a big hp freak this trike came about because I had a good motor and a atc without a motor. 1 + 1 = fast
