    Lmost 30 and still king

Havent been here in a while but thought I would share something relevent to all trike lovers. I have been riding with my neighbors and some friends who all have late model high dollar(to me)quads. 1 is a big bore stroked blaster,2 suzuki Z400(?) and a 660 Raptor. At first they all told me they wouldnt leave me behind if I couldnt keep up.After ridind for a while I flat out embarrased the blaster,he was topped out in 6th and I blew by him while I was in 4th.... Then I ran down and passed both suzukis. The raptor couldnt get around me on the straights which really shocked me, I thought it would blow me away, but I kept pulling on him. We stopped for a little break and I let them ride my 85 250r and the general consensus was and I quote, THAT THING IS TERRIFYINGLY FAST.My reply was its just a old outdated dangerous(lol) Honda 2 stroke with low compression. A big bore is in my near future.......

I remember when the 660 Raptor came out racing a friend's and would catch him and pass him around 4th gear. We all were a bit shocked that my 86-250R which was on a 265cc bore and fmf pipe with stock carb would beat the 660 raptor so we swapped rides thinking it was a bit of the rider with the same results, 250r for the win! The raptor was stock if you were wondering

You will positively LOVE a big bore!

Mine is decisively nastier than my stock engine with bolt-ons.....

The new tech is pretty cool and impressive, but there's no school like the old school!

I think its cool that I have less than 1500 in my R, these guys spent THOUSANDS more... I knew my trike was quick but I assumed the raptor would smoke me from just the huge displacement. Raptor is real torquey but runs out of steam when the R keeps pulling. I will stay away from the can am 800, that thing is unreal. Honda sure did get it right...way back then

I haven't gotten to ride with anything other then a dirt bike since I got my 250r but I know it would dust the 400ex and KFX 400 I used to have!

It doesn't hurt to have a power stroke 2x as often hahaha

The banshee(P) is one machine that never impressed me. I love when people compare the 250r and banshee, their should be no comparison to begin with! The banshee has 100cc's more!!! Put a 350 kit on an R and then we have a fair race, not that it would be much of a race...

I go riding with a 660 raptor and a 525 outlaw and both can't believe that i smoke them with my Tri-Z. the outlaw is always close but never a winner. His suspension is nice on the rough CT trails for sure but i have the oldest machine by far! love it.
    2- 85 Tri-Z's black and Yellow
    2- 85 250SX's
    1- 85 200X
    3-ATC 70's
    2- 85 tri-zinger's who needs some parts
