Anyone got the full low down on this machine ?

[RIDE-RED 250r]

All I can tell you is that is a FINE specimen of a 1st gen 250r (circa '81-'82).

-Air cooled engine
-5 speed tranny
-27mm carb

Off the top of my head those are a few of the key stock specs...

I have seen that pic circulated here a couple times recently. I don't recall if that is an old pic out of a magazine or somebody's resto-mod... But all I can say is that thing makes me REALLY want a nice 1st gen!

Yea but i think hes asking about that specific machine, not asking about a first gen r.
Because obviously it is not stock as we are accustomed to seeing.

Ghosty pointed out to me that the trike in question is not stock so the info I sent you might not be what you are looking for. Unfortunately I am unable to view photos posted the way yours is for some reason. I was going off RIDE RED's response as well as yours.


Are you looking for that particular bike only?

Do think or hope it is some old race bike like Marty Harts or something or is it advertised for sale that way?
