86 tecate crankshaft seal question

hey guys, i just noticed that on my 86 t3 the left side (stator side) crankshaft seal is leaking. can it he replaced without splitting the cases? or do i have to split them? thanks

they have to be split

might aswell do all the seals. The rest can be changed with it together but they are easier when it's apart.

i'll do all the gaskets. and i have a countershaft seal laying around. so it should be no prob.
