I have been playing mostly with my LATHE since I got it,, and doing a lot of reading and more reading,,, so yesterday I figured I would build a front hub for a 70 to match some go-kart hubs I just got,, they are very kool and way different than any I have seen.. so I needed to build a front hub to match,, so here is a series of pictures from yesterday and today , from start to paint,, a new front hub. the last picture is the rear hubs I got ..

Just remember faster isn't always better on the lathe. For harder tool steels, with the right insert you more than likely will run a very low speed and a medium to heavy feed. Just a tip from a fellow machinist. I'm sure you can look up the speeds and feeds online and feel it out from there. Once again, nice job!
