WHY DO YOU WANT TO BYPASS IT? just cut the cord off it and leave the cap installed.... problem solved

Depending on the type of switch but a zip tie will usually do the trick .
The cap is still available new .

theres no wireing harness the coil ignition has spark plug wire and another wire to the primeary coil the other wire is grounded to the frame and runs up to the run/off switch on the handle bars looks like someone disconnected the on /off switch
