    Replacing 250R Crank bearings

Hey guys, i'm rebuilding my 81 250R and i bought new crank bearings (not from honda) they are a good quality bearing but they came with rubber inserts in the
sides and i know the originals did not have the rubber in them, does anyone know if i should leave the rubber in or take it out, i dont want to risk it melting from the heat..
    Thanks

    Hello jheartheton

I would not use the seals. They would also need to be impervious to gas etc which most aren't.

What is the number and name on them?
