    Honda rear wheel stud sizes?

    Can someone please tell me what the rear wheel stud sizes (stud diameter and length) are for the trikes below? I have done a search and have not come up with any definite answers. I’m guessing 10mm diameter for the 200x's and 8mm diameter for the 250sx?

    Also, will 85 250sx rear wheels fit on 85 200x hubs?

    85 - 200x
    diameter = ?
    length = ?

    86 - 200x
    diameter = ?
    length = ?

    85 - 250sx ?
    diameter = ?
    length = ?

    Thanks,

    Chad

    Thanks Barnett!

    I thought I remembered reading somewhere that 85 200x rear wheels will fit on an 85 250sx and from the info you gave me they should. (Other than dealing with the brake drum clearance issue)

    The weird thing is I recently bought some new AMS aluminum wheels (10x8 4/110 3+5) for our 250sx and I did a "dry fit" and they mounted on the SX hubs just fine. Then I tried to put them on my buddies 85 200x and they would not mount up. The studs on the 85 200x hubs were too big. Maybe he has some aftermarket hubs... not sure. It looks like the wheels he has right now on his 85 200x are off of an 86 or 87 200x (at least that what the guy who sold it to him said.) They are thicker than 85 200x wheels and they are a 9” diameter, the lug nuts hardly thread on and they have some weird washers with collars on them to make them fit "right". Time to find a micrometer and see what I’m dealing with I guess.

    Hello Motorgidd

    You're welcome! Yeah it's common practice for mfg's to increase wheel bolt pattern spacing when they increase wheel diameter.
