Can you get it started?
If so does if have engine braking ie does the engine slow it down when you let off the throttle?
When you turn it off does it make a free wheeling sound for a few seconds?

havent had it runnin yet . sorry didnt notice how old thread is . got the girl for 175 . kickstart went out then the electric start. so they parked it. ive got the electric on its way but would like to have the back up if battery dies. the kick start will either never catch and go straight down or catch a lil the no pressure . and will keep on clicking after kicked .

Sounds like my problem effort=results, i believe its the one way bearing in both of our cases, anyways good luck to you!

Same to u sir . Cant wait to put mine in the creek.thread helped me out a lot . seeing everyone suggestions saved me a lot of time and money. Mine will not push start so it has to be this bearing. Thanks again everyone glad I joined

Thanks for the help guys just my 250es runnin . The sprag bearing was bad . Thanks for all the ad vice from this thread. But when I kick it over it also rotates the starter but once it starts it is fine. So I guess there another one way bearing for the electric starter.
