    200x oil pump

    How can I tell if the oil pump is working right, I traded a 250sx, for ALOT of 200x parts, ( I have 6). I just took apart two of the motors, One the rings was seized to the piston, the other, the can lobes wore down 16th inch and the rocker arms, Any one know why this happens, I have never run them, but before I put them back together, Help if You can, and Thanks

    usually you take the pump apart and check the wear between the teeth and between the gears and the sides with a feeler gauge...should be specs in the manuals
