    Talking UPDATE!! 225DX Tri Z Front End Swap

    Well alot of you guys saw my other thread about me wrecking my dx, well, I ordered a tri z frońt end, and now I'm just waiting for it to get here! From what I heard its mostly just a direct bolt on, with little modification. So i will be posting up pics of me doing it. And if you guys have any info to give please do, I wold really appriciate it.

    He got the front end parts from me, cant say ive seen anyone do that front end swap. Should be interesting to see how it turns out

    I'm not gonna do the headlight now, I think I might do it later on, but for now I'm going to buy a number plate for it, to cover everything up.

    Thanks for the parts again, I'm pumped to get this on.

    Ill post up some more pics later when I start getting it done. I should have everything by the end of the week or the beggining of next week.

    Good luck! I am trying to remember who the guy is that posted pics of his a while back. I wish I still had my DR to do that conversion cause it looked sweet!

    i wonder how the steering is to be with a decent set of aggressive rear tires.my 225 turns like sh-t with bearclaws and stock front.

    The steering should be pretty good, my dx turn great with trail pros on it, I'm guessing your bearclaws have like to much grip which makes it hard to turn?

    And I also have stock front tire on mine.

    That's how I found out about it, it just looked so cool, I really wanted to do it, but then I wrecked my dx and had a good reason to do it

    I ran GBC Gators on my DR and didn't have any problems turning.

    Hey guys, I was just lookin at the bearings they sent me, and I'm not sure if their the right ones? Can someone please help me out with this, and does anyone have like a diagram of where they go. Any help would be very much appriciated.

    It comes with the 2 bearings as shown ^^^ and 2 washer things im not sure what they're called.
