    Odyssey fl350 intake?

Ok guys...will a fl350 intake boot really work on my 1982 250r with a stock diameter carb? I need an intake real bad and have access to an fl350 boot.

I ran one on my 84 air cooler, but it was so I could squeeze a 39pwk on. Im almost positive the fl350 boot is a little larger i.d. though. worst case if you already have the boost is to pull the carb and check it!

From what I have read within threads on this site, it works.

I too have read quite a bit about them having the same bolt pattern and the right angle, but I have yet to read where a stock diameter carb will clamp into it good enough. Everything I've read is focused on an oversized carb.
Perhaps my question should be,...will a stock carb clamp in good enough to work?

The smallest carb that an FL-350 rubber intake will hold is a 34mm carb from an 85/86 250R. A 27mm or 30mm carb from a 1st or 2nd gen 250R will be way too small to be held by the FL-350 intake!

so my question is have you been looking on ebay for an intake boot? I would also put a shout on AIRFOOLERS.COM

    Or

You can use the FL350 Intake and upgrade to a 38MM PWK Air striker.

I have been watching eBay and I do have a shout out on af.com. The bike runs great and I would just like to leave it stock.

I tell you what man, I have two 85 R carburetors. One was given to me by a friend and if you pay the shipping I will give it to you! I will not guarantee anything cause I never used it but it does look great. It will not have the slide, needle or cap though but everything else is there.
