    OEM big red tires

Looking at the old threads, I see where these were discontinued somewhere around 2006 or before. Pardon if this has been posted before, just wondering if there had been any more investigations turn up positively for finding a new source for these. I see some Ohtsus have been produced again here and there. If someone has a set that are in good shape, I would love to have an opportunity. My 85 BR has a fine set, but they are a bit weathered. I am thinking of replacing them with a set of tires non-OEM just for riding purposes, but I have done the research already and have some decent ideas. Perhaps someone knows of a new set that has a similar pattern or seem to simply look pretty good in their opinion. Thanks in advance, glad to be back in the saddle again after 25 years

There isn't really anything similar in style to the OEM tires..and in general the choices in 9" tires to fit the OEM rims are getting slimmer by the day.

But using a modern rim that has OEM geometry gives you a lot more choices..example: ITP Steel 12x7, 2+5, 4/100 is a dead nuts fit. Then there is a ton of tires to choose from in 12"

Have some with it, I think you'll be happy with the results.

I thought they were still available because our local Honda shop just ordered one for my dads 85 ES last winter. It cost him a small fortune, but they got it!
