I don't no what to do with it I removed the nut from the tins ,crank is free and the bearings seem tight but the piston smacked the nut so there is little pieces in the bottom end . the cases are not damaged ,the tins are fine . I think im just going to send the bottom end off and have it split to check the crank and bearings and clean it out before putting a good cylinder on it

Did the nut go all the way around while it was welded to the crank?? If it did, you better look at the cases on the bottom. I hope the cases are not broke on the bottom where they seam together with the case gasket. I lost some Tiny little reed a s rews from my 310 a few years ago, and 1 little screw got stuck between the big end of the rod and the case and split the case wide open..

thats hardcore! never seen that before. I cant tell for sure in the pics, but is that a lock nut style nut? I have no idea where it would have come from.
