Will my 1981 185s front tire fit on my 1984 185s? The tire won't hold air more then a day but I have an extra of my 81 185s, if not what could I do to make it fit?

Will my 1981 185s front tire fit on my 1984 185s? The tire won't hold air more then a day but I have an extra of my 81 185s, if not what could I do to make it fit?

Well, the tire sizes are the same but:
- the OEM 81 tires were designed for a split rim
- the OEM 84 rims are one piece
- 81 was a 3 bolt 3x100 bolt pattern and the 84 is a 4x130 bolt pattern so the rims won't swap
If the tires aren't OEM, all bets are off.

The 84 isn't a split rim? Perfect, the guy said the slow leak was cause the split rim, I never checked in all honesty. Ill just either put fix a flat or change the tire. Thanks buddy!
