hello i wanted to know if a 85-86 250r headlight would fit on a 85 200x, i know a 350x will. A guy wants to trade a 200x for my r plus cash my way, and i wanted know if i should take the headlight from mine and put it on his, its not original to the r anyway and his doesnt have one. so anyone who has done or seen one done let me know thank you for the input in advance.

85 R light looks best and there are replacement plastics made yet for 85 and 86R. see attached pic. Its mine.
i think somone should contact maier to have 350x ones made too.

Is there a difference between the 85R headlight shell and the 86X? Or are they the same?

they almost look the same but are different. an 86 200x healights i have found are very hard to come by

86 R uses same head light as 86-87 200x and 85-86 250sx. they shells and head lights use to be scared until maier started just re making them but finding a light is hard. I paid $60 for a wasted shell for the straps and light. new shell from maier was for my 85 light was 60 also.
