    SX rear handle

hello atc riders, i am planning on making a custom rear rack for my buddys SX for his up coming BDAY. something small to carry gas can or a 30 rack....that will bolt right to the frame in place of where the rear lift handle goes. can someone give me the outside width of the frame where the handle bolts to and the measurement from bolt center to bolt center? thanks.
dump a little gas down the spark plug whole.....she'll start.

But if you are bent on fabbing I just took measurements from mine..

Width to outside of frame 10 7/8"..distance from front mount bolt to rear centre of hole 3 3/8". As accurate as I could for you.

In fact here is a pic so you can see that there is a bit of a pic so you can see that there is a variation on the mount widths. The pic is from under the machine pointed up BTW. The point where the front mount flairs out is an extra 1/2" on each side so the total width at that point is approx. 11 7/8"..

x2. A six pack rack sounds like exactly what you want to build.

thanks doug. its the thought of a custom beer rack that i was going for. getting something custom made from a best friend tops a factory made bent piece of metal with a brand name on it.

    Very true..a much better gift! You're a good bro-friend!

Search Ebay and you'll probably find some design inspiration. Maybe even improve on a store bought style..
