I wasn't going ot be able to make it out until after hunting season started so that would limit the trails. Looks like it won't be until the spring untill the New England boys are back out there

I'm in the same boat. I have a wedding that I'm in this weekend, and next weekend I am going to Tug Hill with the family for what will probably be our last weekend camping/riding trip to The Tug for this season...

And right on the heels of that is hunting season... And of course I will be sneaking around the woods with my Remington 700 and S&W 44 mag! Can't wait for that!

I'd be happy to be the "Medic" for the ride and bring along my trauma FAK and a set of water wings

Are you prepared for the following theoretical scenarios?

    1) 2 men enter a bar and do a dozen boilmaker shots then one rearends the other at high speed? (AKA - The Just brother manuever)
2 ) You make a left turn and crash at full speed into a parked 3 wheeler on a custom RX you built? ? ( AKA - The Steve)
    3) You attempt to make a bank way to high for you and crash horribly? (AKA - the Little Dave)
    4) You miss a corner at full throttle and launch 15 feet domn into a culvert on a sx? ( AKA - The Dan)

Indeed! I'm a big fan of ACE wraps. They're one of the most versatile medical devices you can carry. You can make everything from splints to slings to pressure dressings to control bleeding. I also carry paracord to construct a litter if need be. Amongst other goodies my FAK has quick-clot, sutures, wound dressings, thoracotomy needle, etc...but it sounds like what y'all will need the most is a steady supply of IV fluid to recover from those boilermakers

Well the Medic was prob making a good decision. Even though it turned out to be a broken clavicle and ribs, he/she had no way of knowing in the field if there was spinal involvement or internal bleeding. The mechanism of injury seemed severe enough to warrant a fly-out.

I'm glad to hear he's making a good recovery though!

Early May rumors are true! Nice pre-TF trike shakedown!
You guys make my place sound dangerous! I never wreck or get hurt! And im on my 300cc T3.. Lol
There is alot of easy trails, sand gravel pits, fire roads, powerlines ect..
What I do have is the ability to ride right to a handful of adult beverage places (bars), some people like shots some do not (me lol) I dont get hurt.. lmao!
Next ride we will have more leaders, break into groups of 5 and take altermate routes to and from play spots. The guys that want more tavern time can break into there group, guys that want to log miles will be in a mile group and guys that want track time will get that too.. lol
