I have a couple YTM 200's and one i dont have a battery on, the lights dont work.. but i know in the magnito theres a lighting coil that powers them, is there a way to see if the coil is still good or what?? Any help would be useful!

Chapter 6 has your electrical tests. Not to insult your intelligence, but did you actually put NEW bulbs in both the headlight and tail light and see if they work? If you did, and they don't work, you can do the lighting coil test. If the lights come on, but burn out when the engine is revved, then you have a bad voltage regulator. Don't blow out a good set of lights to test the regulator, though LOL. Test the regulator for resistance. They're known to go bad in these machines. That's what happened to my machine. Aftermarket regulators are the way to go.

Havent actually checked that.. but the nutruel light doesnt come on either, nor reverse. But ill have to download and check bulbs.
you have a couple? any chance one might be a shaft drive im in need of a rear axle
New to 3wheelerworld. Having light problems on 1983 Yamaha YTM200E, regulator has no continuity between red and white wire in either direction. Guessing it is bad! Very hard to find one. Can anyone help, for possible more common regulator that may work? If so, some insight on installation would also be helpful.
