    my current trike

1980 yamaha yt125 trimoto. It was a barn find, all original. It sat for 10 years before i got it. Piston and cyl are perfect!
Plastics were uv brittled so i poofed them black till i can find newer fenders.

Lol they are orange peeled like crazy. I just threw spray on the sun rotted fenders. Like i said id like to find a set of the sky blue fenders for it from a 81-85 yt125-175.

You are pretty good at navigating a forum for only being about two years old.

I personally would of left it alone if it runs fine. Ride it until the plastic crack and fall off, then replace them. Would i rather spider web'd OEM plastics over spray bombed ones? Of course. But hey, its your trike, as long as your happy.

Was all the plastics toast? Even the headlight shell? You could of even sold them, or kept them as backups.

I also like the Blaster. It has a very understated "all business" look to it. BTW, your boy is adorable! And talented... I don't think I was even WALKING yet at 2 years old, to say nothing of riding.

The 125 might look neat with a camo wrap. And the Blaster actually looks better (to me, anyway) without fenders. It's just plain cool! The 200x is nothing to sneeze at, either.

The 200x was a trail/sand monster. Hi comp piston, curtis sparks exhaust and cam, port, k&n filter, xr200 carb jetted, finishline wide axle, douglas front rim.
My buddy borrowed it and forgot to check the oil (had a leaky seal). He ran it dry, the axle and exhaust went to members here on the forum.
That funded the blaster engine build from local shop (waste of money).

Blaster 206. Wiesco piston/rod/crank, graydon proline rh bend pipe, airstriker carb, 6+twin beam tubular swing arm(one off), suzuki lt250s carrier/axle/hubs/rear disc, lt250s alum front hubs/rolled rims, douglas black dots rear, fender delete, bars/grips/heelcages/grabbar, showa shox.

repurposed the front fender louvers as larger air scoops for the engine. scraped/sanded/trimmed the fenders to my liking.
