The kids got some new toys

Ok so they aren't trikes but the price was right. A guy my brother works with mentioned that he had a couple little quads that his sister left behind when she moved to Florida. He said one was black and one was orange and didn't know anything about them except that they haven't ran in 3 or 4 years. He said he wanted 200.00 for the pair just to get them out of his yard. After a few failed attempts to meet up to look at the and a couple of weeks the guy decided he could get more for them. Another week or so went by and he sent my brother a picture of "the orange one" it turned out to be a 2005 Polaris predator 90. Having a 9 year old daughter in need of a new machine I offered 300.00 for it and he agreed. So I made arrangements to pick it up, well that didn't work out either. He called the day before and informed me his sister (still in florida) decided that she was going to have it fixed then try to sell it. Another month goes by and the guy calls to say his sister is ready to let them go again and asked if I knew anyone who wanted "a black one". I wasted no time this time around and went right away to get my daughters new quad. I brought a trailer and some extra cash with me incase the black one was something I was interested in. When I got down there I seen the the black machine was 2005 kymco mongoose 250. Which is the exact same a Arctic cat dvx 250. Not a copy of it, The exact same beside the badging. So I spent a few minutes talking them down and threw out an offer of 400.00 for the pair. After some negotiating we settled on 440.00. I brought them home and after fresh gas and carb cleanings they both run great! They both needed batteries and some little nickel and dime parts but in total I am still under 600.00 for two nice machines. It works out perfect for our kids since we have a 14y/o and a 9y/o and works out just as well for me since it keeps them off my trikes!new quads 016.JPG new quads 006.JPG

Whats really cool about that deal is, after a few years of riding and your kids are ready to move on to bigger machines. You will easily get your money back or even make money on that deal.
