    *** Please school me - '84 200es question ***

Hello everybody. First, check out this minty '84 200es I found on the web. A beauty!!!

    http://www.macworthrv.com/?p=1334

My noob question - on the 2nd & 7th picture in the slideshow - what is that cord that is coming from underneath the seat??? Is this factory??? My new to me '84 200es does not have this. Also on my bike there is some sort of electrical plug in on the left side of the headlight housing. What exactly is this??? No owner's manual available to research. Thanks in advance for your help. Regards, BK3

Thats a battery tender hookup cable, its not OEM. I have the exact same one on my 200ES. Its the Battery Tender Jr, and there is a few others like it as well, it comes with a pigtail with ring terminals that you can install on the battery and then just plug in the charger when you want for storage, etc.

The plug up on the headlight is the accessory outlet. Honda made a spotlight that you could plug into it, and you can plug in just about any 12v accessory to it, it came with a plug that you could wire up to anything you want. On my 200ES i removed that socket and installed a weatherproof/marine version of your standard lighter socket for powering accessories.

The owners manual and service manual is available on my Manuals website. Link below in my signature...

The plugs for that factory outlet are so dang hard to come by that i just swapped mine for the standard lighter socket, i kept the original of course and tucked it away in a drawer to be forgotten for another 15 years... LOL

That is my dream trike right there. I wish I could go back in time 30 years. I would have bought 3 brand new Honda 200ES. One to use as an everyday rider, one kept mint for years to come, and then sell the last one on eBay still in it's crate to pay for all 3!

My accessory outlet is missing on the 200es I just picked up. Do I need to do something with the pink wire and green connector to start the trike?

The 1984 Big Red 200ES is mine at MacWorthRV, glad you like it. It is completely original with dealer hang tags etc. It's a one owner machine with about 10 hours. Here's a few current pics.

This '84 Big Red and some of my other collector 3 wheelers might soon be going to a new home in Colorado. They are to become part of a museum collection for motorsports. I'll be sad to see her go but it will be in good company. I will hang on to a few of my favorites machines however. If you are on Facebook, feel free to visit my page at macworthrv...thank you. Here are a few of my other 3 wheelers...Click image for larger version.

If I were you I would not be surprise to be getting more than a couple private messages about selling those trikes.

I predict that at least one is coming your way right...about...

Thank you for the interest. All the machines pictured here are spoken for and are likely headed for a museum out west. I do still have them in storage and all will be on display for TRIKEFEST Maine this July (date not yet determined). I have a few trikes not pictured that will not be sold; they will also be on display for anyone interested (or close enough) to join us here in Maine.
