Oh yeah, were movin on up!

Finally got the Fox struts, Skyjacker coilovers and new complete leaf springs. Truck is an 03 Tacoma V6SR5 and it needed a lift bad.

Should have it all done tomorrow with before and after pics.

No spacers, shackles, using old parts etc etc. Springs are in the shop and I'm tired.......

    Have the oxy/acetylene on hand

Nice parts indeed.I always preferred real lifts instead of brackets and spacers. You can customize your ride with those shocks?Definately post up pics.

Thanks guys, do it once and do it right. I had forums telling me to use an add a leaf and new OEM toyota struts (I believe they are 5/8ths diameter) and coils with a spacer at 75K miles. I want NEW coils, NEW leafs...

I however wanted a full suspension lift. I have 33x12.5x15 BFG R/AT on American racing Outlaw one wheels with no holes and black side out.

Looking forward to driving like a nut!

Waiting for the pics, love Toyota trucks! One must do in my opinion for any lift kit is to replace all rubber bushings with polyurethane ones. It transfers all flex to the metal parts of the suspension and not to the rubber.

Well, after all day; I got the rear leafs on. I have a tow package so I had to swap the fat lower leafs.

The old leafs were put on this new frame 2 years ago and the OEM leafs were already seized in the front. Couple hours of grinding, smashing - It was not fun. Got both front struts off but only one installed as the mosquito's came in.

I need to post pics of my hands, I have torn skin and slashes as well as burns everywhere

So, tomorrow I'm back at it, weather will be nice and I will be refreshed.

My hat is off to ALL mechanics that have to make things happen no matter how difficult each and every day!!

Thanks bill, the arsenal of oxy/acet as well cut off wheels and grinders as well as air chisels and drives, crap caught on fire. Everything how I imagined it; did not go as planned.

All done, about 2 days. The new rear leafs lowest one was thinner than my OEM. I had forgot I have a tow package so I swapped the lower fat leaf and still got 3"s. Although the frame was replace a year oer so back, everything was seized. Oxy/Acet, grinder, drill, pry bars, ratchet straps etc were all needed.

I'll get a pic in the light for ya; Minor dremel work needs to be on the 2 front fender flares, they rub a bit......

ABS has an issue so I have to start another thread.

Got a bit dark when I was done. This is the 3rd Toyota 4x4 I have ran these American Outlaw 1 wheels and a BFG Radial All Terrain. Much more fun to drive!!

Nice stance, looks well done! Is the ABS mounted internally to the front bearings like a Chev or is it just an external sensor pointing to a ring? Maybe the clearance got disturbed with all the banging around?
