i have a 1983 honda 200e and recently cleaned the carburetor and it was running nice. The next time i went to ride it it was running good and then died when i gave it throttle instantly. I started it back up and it idles fine but when i give it throttle it dies. I took off the gas tank and checked the fuel filter in there and it was covered in rust. I cleaned it off and tried again and it still died when i gave it throttle. So then i took apart the carburetor to see if there was any rust or dirt in there and it was totally clean. Do you think there might be a chunk of rust stuck in the throttle cable needle? I dont think the gas line was plugged up either so i dont know what it would be. Any help? Thanks![]()
