My 87 200x gas tank has a lot of junk n the bottom. I pulled the petcock and cleaned it out but how do u remove the little tube and seal from the tank without damaging them to clean the tank out?

They should have come out when you removed the petcock . The reserve tube and filter are pressed into the petcock , if their stuck in the tank screw a drywall screw into the tube and pull it out .

I pulled on the tube and it came out but the seal stayed, I'll try that and see what happens. Thanks shortline10
