    350X stripped valve cover thread.

    Hello all,
I was thinking of running a bottom tap through it to see if that would clean
up the threads. If that doesn't work, what's the next best thing? Heli-coil or should
I go to the next mm size up? The bolt itself is fine. It had some goop on it to hold it in place.
    Any ideas will be appreciated.
    Thanks!

Invest in a good helicoil, or permacoil set, if the threads are stripped its pretty unlikely that a tap will clean them up, and if ya get some threads, it will be loose and the bolt will loosen up and fall out, before I got a collection of inserts the bike shop down the road from me charged $10 bucks to fix a hole..
