Honda fatcat Suspension upgrades? (also alaskan fatcat/bigwheel videos)

Hey, I have a 86 fatcat and was wondering if anyone has information about upgrading the rear shock to have more travel? Also wanted to swap out the entire triple clamp and forks for something with more travel and disc brakes. Is there another triple clamp from like maybe a 350x or later model 250r that would fit into the fatcats headset? any help is greatly appreciated. Below find some videos of fatcatting and bigwheeling in Alaska this summer.

Love the vids..best only post vids with riders wearing helmets. Site rules..the mods will yank you!!

As for your FatCat mods..DON'T do it!!!! Please..keep it original!

That is a piece of history, even more unique and rare than our trikes.

Keep it original and buy a dirt bike like your buddies if that is what your are looking for!!

That second video is awesome. Good job editing, like the music, really cool. The landscape is awesome, looks like quit the adventure.

I have the same question as fat as what may work. I picked up a 1986 forks and triple tree for a 250r to see if the will work and so far not much luck getting them to fit. Not sure what to do yet. The 250r forks are pretty nice and rather big. If I could figure it out it would be Nice. The are a little more raked also which I don't like.

Any idea if 350x front hub bolts into Fatcat rim ?
