yup, its been ported. youre pumped. thats why it has little power on the bottom end then when the revs get higher it wants to jump out from under you.

find yourself an extended swingarm. your bike will handle better in the corners and the extra length will help keep the front tire down when it comes on the pipe.

no. just find an extended swinger made for 81. Westcoast swingarms were made for both 81 and 82, so if you find one of those, youre pumped. also, there are many places around that can fabricate one. there are plenty of welders here on the boards and places like HRE to fab up a swinger. ive also heard of trx450R swingers being made to fit. there are options, but it may take you a while to find, or may take a sizeable chunk out of your budget, or both.

While I waiting for the carb bowls and jets off the Mach z had to enjoy a nice bath to clean them up. I did some tinkering on the R. Used some yamabond to make a seal for the carb boot hole too see if that was really my problem. I started it up and was able to control my idle. So that portion is fixed. As for riding this after it's been running properly is just awesome! Never seen a powerband like this one. Dunking around and all it does it want to kick me off backwards! First time It came up I wasn't ready and might of had to change my underwear! Haha! This thing just tears!!
