If your 125 has a horizontal engine, it's not an 86. 86 and 87 had vertical engines.

I hear about some guys dropping new Lifan motors in their ATC's. You can find them on ebay for [what I consider to be] a reasonable price. It may take a little modification, but it would be pretty rad to have a fresh powerplant in an old trike.
