    250 es front tire question

I have a Carlisle Stryker 25x12-9 on the front of my '85 250es and it's too wide. I only have a half inch clearance between the sidewall and the forks. And that's with a lot of air pressure in it. I want to replace the fork boots and fork seals but I'm afraid that tire will tear the boots up again. Question is, what size tire do I want to go with and where is the best place to buy the seals? Is that the stock tire size for my machine? What brand and where can I find the best deal on a tire? The forks seem straight, how much clearance should I have? Thanks.

Change up your front rim to this:

    ITP Steel Rim 12x7, 2+5, 4/110

The perfect replacement to the stock rim..then pick whatever 12" tire you like to go on.

I chose a 26x8x12 Bear Claw for my front!!

    Better clearance, improved handling..!!
