fork seal kit 250r

I got an 1982 250r and i want rebuild the front forks, where can i buy a kit. all i can find are dust seals and main seals is there a kit?

You can still get OEM seal sets from Honda. You can pick it up at the on-line parts places or a Honda dealer. Part # 51490-GS9-305.

I bought OEM parts for my 84 R forks. You have dust seals and wiper seals. If you buy both it is better, this way everything has a stronger seal and you should be good for many years to come. I got mine on ebay from a dealer clearing out over stock. be prepaired to pay like $40 or 50 for dust and wiper seals.

Whatever route you go do not buy the LEAK PROOF brand. I have rebuilt more forks than I can count and these are guaranteed to leak. They should really change their name.
