    Tri z help please

Ok, my 85 tri z shifter started to ride in towards the engine on my last ride, not catching gears. So this got me to go in! Drained the oil and it was a bit milky. So the questions..... What's the best way to get the
Water pump oil seal out without damaging the case? Is there any trick to getting the clutch off without the
Holding tool? (I don't have one) what should I look for on the shifter shaft or could it be in the tranny?
    Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

use an air impact on the clutch and hold it with your hand. always works. Impact wrenches are a wonderful thing

To get the seal out, use an allen wrench. Put the 90 degree side in, and get it under the seal, but make sure it has a good grip and isnt hitting the case. Then start levering it out. It wont damage the case, because the side you are putting pressure on hits the seal, which is pretty thick and has metal inside it.
