    1986 250sx front forks

    as i was riding tonight i noticed that my front end is stiff and it sounds like metal on metal when it does suspend is there something i need to look for or to do? thanks for the help

    i have a manual coming. just bought the machine before harvest an finally had time to ride it and see what is wrong with it

    I'm sure you figured out..fluid belongs on the inside.

    If it's wet on the outside, grab the manual and follow the instructions..pretty simple to rebuild shocks.

    I agree with Doug, after you get your manual, you may want to tear into them. I rebuilt mine awhile back on my project SX. It was my first time doing a set, and it wasnt all that hard to do.
    The seals are all still available from Honda still. Once mine were done there was an amazing difference in ride.
