    charging 250es battery

Interesting ol' faithful charger, light perfect sparkles when connecting.
say 2 amp setting but looked more like 1 amp which is ok with my charging philosophy.
On all day, still limp battery.

Kick started 1/2 kick and rode it for 20 min and the battery acts normally.

Wonder what kind of amperage they charge at normally?
I know I got a pretty hot shock from the ac wire from the stator once.

I read the other day that if your battery is stone cold dead that the charger won't function properly. The reported fix is to connect the dead battery to a good battery with jumper cables and then charge the good battery as a means to trick the charger. I may end up trying it today as my bike battery was connected all night at 2 amps and didn't take a charge.

The actual charge rate is more like a trickle charger. Probably more like 1/2 amp rate. If one spends allot of time cranking depleting the battery, it takes a nice long run to get the battery charged back up.
