Was just looking for some advice on my Tri-Z motor build. Im not sure which way to go. To start, I ride hard, damm hard and fast. I am not easy on the bike, always on the motor. I don't race but ride hard in the trails, tight turns that require good mid to break the tires loose. Also alot of long open fire roads to open it up. A few guys here came out by me to ride once so they know how I am. I was up in the air over 3 choices. 1) assemble the Sprock Racing 310 kit that I have. 2) Flop on a Ported powervalved 1985 yz 250 cylinder 3) get my tri-z cylinder ported up, maybe the Klemm National port set up. So far I hear that no one can get the damm 310 kit right. What are the major mishaps with it? How is the power delivery and where? The bottom end is going to have the 1985 yz 250 crank and close ratio gearing with the addition of the tri-z 6th gear. The yz crank will allow me to run the smaller flywheel and yz ignition for faster revs. I don't do much night riding so lights are out. Anyone have any insight. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
