Any good quality 80/90 gear lube in my opinion, that is brand wise. I have Castrol 80/90 gear lube in my 200ES's rear end. If i recall correctly thats Hypoid GL-5. Hit your local NAPA or an auto parts store, they will know what your talking about when you ask for 80/90 hypoid.

The gear set in the differential is a hypoid configuration. In other words is a spiral bevel gear type referred to as a hypoid gear. The oil for this type of configuration does require a different type of oil rather than a straight gear oil. Jon's link explains it very well.

Something about 'slipperiness' from 1-5 or so as it refers to 'hypoid' oils.
If you think about it, they are actually trying to grind each other away by design but almost never do if they have at least SOME kind of oil, esp oil withOUT water mixed in.

I should read the actual description.

Funny that lots of new cars use engine oil for gearboxes with ring and pinion type gearsets
    with little regard for 'hypoidness'.

I better do some more homework before I cause trouble.
