    Old school air cool decomp valve?

    I just received a new to me head for my 83 CR480. I have the engine installed on a 84 250R frame. The mount on the head cracked, you can see the pictures on my 480 thread. I have done some research on vintage MX forums about installing a decompression valve on these big bore motors and it seems like it can be done, but I am just not getting very far. Has anyone done this on a similar project or know someone who can/does?
