    What is this black box

I see these things on R's and X's...what the hell is it and what's it for? My 200X doesn't have one and I don't believe it ever did.

It's the black plastic box connected to the grab bar on the back on the left side.

Six Stroke is right. It's a tool box. You can't buy new OEM anymore. Your 200X would have had one. Tool kits/boxes seem to go missing on trikes over the years...Not uncommon.

My tools got all rusty and crusty years ago, and disappeared. So, I pulled the box off, but kept it just in case I decided to scrounge up, and replace the tools down the road.

Trikes look empty without the toolbox. Also, the tools are very handy. I normally add an adjustable wrench, some tie straps, spark plug, and mechanics wire to my box.

I bought one a few months ago off ebay for my '85 350X, with most of the tools for less that $50. There still around if you'd like to add it back. I know for sure your 200x had one too. I owned an '85 years ago.

Well I don't have the grab bar on it anymore either (which I think makes them look stupid IMO). I may reconsider re-adding it someday but right now I don't ride it enough to need one.

Grab bars are made so that if you stand the trike up, your rear plastics don't get smashed.... I would never run one without a grab bar just ask my friend Sp8twn lol
